WEAR GREEN!!

Spirit Day tomorrow (Friday) gang! Wear green - shirts, pants, scarves, if it's green, wear it!! Let's go for 100% green!!

Wasn't that a great presentation by Michal Kusugak? He's a wonderful Inuit storyteller and I thought it was facinating to hear his stories of his childhood - sled dog travel, living in igloos, kayaking, soap stone pots and pans....a way of life that is being lost. We'll be looking at some of Mr. Kusugak's books when we study the Arctic in Extreme Environments. I hope you share some of his stories and our experience with him today and the artifacts you saw (thanks to the models!) with your families.

Goals for tomorrow - listening to each other and me, and being responsible for our recycling - I'm looking at containers of food over by the organic bucket, and food spilled over the table and floor :(

Tomorrow morning we will be doing a reflection, and a What's Gone Well - be ready in Advisory.

Secret word....ulu! (and can you tell me what it is?...)
