Hang in there!

Students, those were fabulous concerts yesterday and the day before - I was so proud of all of you musicians!! I had Hey Jude running through my head all day - Brandon and Amber, you were fabulous in strings, and I just can't believe how many of you are in band, and how well you play after only half a year!

Between illness, snow days, concerts and all, we've had to be pretty flexible with our schedule - nevertheless you've accomplished some great learning. Your powerful questions on Afghanistan are excellent, and the discussions around the Poverty Cycle have been very rewarding to me as a teacher.

Let's keep working hard for the last week and accomplish as much learning as we can - before your well deserved Spring Break!

P.S. Lots of you have asked me about bringing Bogey in (especially after his stand off with a raccoon!!) How does next week sound?
