Hi Everyone...well, it's not exactly heavy snowfall right now, but it's ICY! So, the school district has closed schools for today. It's snowing right now where I live, and the forecast is for more snow today (fun!!). But the ice is what is making it very treacherous. So, stay home and enjoy the unusual weather - build a snowman.
Remember that even though it's fun to have snow and an unexpected day off, this kind of weather can pose problems for some people, particularly elderly people. Think about our definition of community - is there anyone you can help out today?
I'm so sorry to have been away yesterday - I would have loved to have played in the snow with you, but I hear you had a wonderful time with Mrs. Hall!
If you're not sure of weather conditions, listen to the news, look up the School District website (google School District #61, Victoria) and I'll keep the blog updated.
