Tuesday November 22 update

Hi Students - Yes there is homework!!

Here is a recap of the homework as assigned in class this morning:

This morning you brainstormed a topic sentence for a paragraph comparing your typical day (as you illustrated in a pie graph) with Sita's day (from your textbook).

Your homework is to complete the first draft of the rest of the paragraph, providing supporting detail about your typical day and Sita's typical day. Your paragraph will have

1) a topic sentence (written in class this morning)
2) at least 3 or 4 sentences with supporting detail
3) a concluding sentence

You should use your Venn diagram for information, and follow the criteria of paragraph writing (you have the rubric in your Language Arts duotang).

Students, we covered all of this in class this morning. If you have questions about an assignment, make sure you ask for help before the end of the day so you know what to do!!

Do your best to complete a rough draft. It does not have to be perfect - drafts never are. Tomorrow we will work on editing.
