Thanks students, for a really great day! You worked hard and we got lots of learning accomplished - remember to really be able to identify the characteristics of ALL living things (tell a parent, sibling, or pet!!), and go over the brainstorming we did this afternoon around the needs of ALL living things.
Thank you too for entertaining Bogey - he had a great time, and is sleeping now - you tired him out! I'll try to find a better picture of him, although the one on the blog is one of my favourites - he looks a bit like a vampire, but he exudes such joy!
Chat with your family tonight about how to encourage or "build" community - we'll be talking about that again tomorrow. Once again, excellent brainstorming.
And finally, thank you to the students who remembered to bring in items for the food hamper - if everyone else remembers this week (tomorrow?!), the box will be filled up in no time. I'll bring in my donations tomorrow.
