Last week was a busy one, and I'm sorry to have not updated the blog!
Great day Eco-Rowing out at Esquimalt Lagoon. Too bad the wind prevented us from dragon boating, but the good news is, we'll still be able to do that - a whole new field trip! Let's wait til the weather is a bit warmer, and then we'll catch the #8 city bus to the Gorge, where we'll have an opportunity to dragon boat in a new location, and hopefully be able to take in the Gorge Marine Centre as well - and maybe take a picnic for the park?
As well, I've just booked another field trip that I'm very excited about - an estuary study at Goldstream! We'll be going on the afternoon of May 18 - prepare to get muddy. We'll be taking our boots off and walking through the mud....they'll hose us off afterwards! We'll need parent drivers again for this one - we'll talk about it in Advisory tomorrow.
I'll be collecting your graphic organizers for adaptations tomorrow, along with your creative scientific illustrations. Be prepared!
