Hello Parents,
Please note that there is an excellent presentation on Gaming and Gambling Among Today's Youth (did you know the average age for gambling addictions beginning is 12 years old??!)in our school library tomorrow evening (May 17) from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The students had a version of this presentation today and were captivated - it's extremely relevant to their world. The focus of tomorrow's presentation is to give parents an understanding of the issues surrounding video games and gambling in the youth population, as well as an overview of the similarities, differences, and parenting strategies that can be helpful in addressing gaming and gambling problems with young people.
I think you'll find the presentation will give you a great deal of insight into your child's world.

If you handed in your science today (analyzing, evaluating, applying and extending, you don't have any homework!
You do have a couple of tasks - talk to your family about drivers on Wednesday and baking for Thursday, but nothing else. Thanks for checking - that shows responsibility.
