This blog is meant for the students, parents and guardians of Advisory 62. I will be posting information about our class and the work we are doing, upcoming class and school events, homework when it's assigned, reading lists, reflections, connections, and a variety of other information. Please remember that the blog is not a forum to exchange information about students, as it's accessible to a wide audience. However, I will try to answer general questions in a timely way!

Welcome Back!
Welcome back students! I hope everyone had a great break. I certainly did - I was in Cuba for a week, and I have a lot I want to share with you....I made many connections to things we've discussed, explored and researched in class. We'll be having a guest in our class first day back, Jeremy Bally. He will be helping us brainstorm some ways we can make a difference in our world. Come prepared to think and contribute (as always!). Please remember to bring in your report card envelopes. It's also important you remember your marks and comments, so that you can reflect on goals and strategies for third term. Parents, please find the term overview and learning outcomes at the bottom of the blog (to save paper). If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me at kkilpatrick@sd61.bc.ca, or through the school office.
