Thank you to everyone - parents, guardians, guests and students alike, for coming to Advisory 63 for Student Led Conferences yesterday. I was so impressed students, with how articulately you spoke to your guests (okay, I was eavesdropping!) about your learning, from the importance of partner talk, to the themes you observe in your pie graphs, to talking about reading strategies and higher order thinking - well done!!
For those of you who were unable to make it yesterday, your child will be bringing home a "Tour on Paper" which essentially re-creates the stations that were set up. I would appreciate it if you could take some time to sit down with your child and listen as they take you on a "tour" of the classroom - ask lots of questions! Please then sign the hand out and return it to school by Friday if possible. Thank you - and enjoy your tour!
