You did it! You performed the Gumboot dance in front of almost 500 of your peers, and did a fantastic job! Many of you also performed in the band, strings or choir - what a wonderful week of celebration it has been. You also worked hard on your book trailers, had a great morning of skating, and left the classroom sparkling clean (thank you!).
I want to congratulate you - as I had to be away on Thursday morning, Ms. Racansky was your TOC for the first time. She told me that she's never been welcomed so warmly to a class, and she said you worked hard, listened really well, and "were the nicest class ever"! So I'm pretty proud of you for a whole bunch of reasons.
And finally - Merry Christmas! For those of you who celebrate Christmas, and for those of you who have other celebrations, either at this time of year or at another, I wish for you the peace that this season brings us all, and a much deserved holiday. Have a wonderful break class, and I'll see you in 2011!!
